Google Latitude app Available for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad now

Google has finally launched an official Google Latitude app for iOS devices that is separate from their official Google Mobile app.
The Google Latitude service and app allows you to share your location on a map with your friends. You can also, of course, control who sees your location. This can of course come in handy if meeting up with friends or to keep track of children or co-workers on the move.
You could have already accessed the service through a web-app/mobile version that Google launched after learning Apple initially didn’t want to approve the app due to possible confusion with the native that uses Google maps technology. Apple also originally didn’t approve the official Google Voice app, which hit the App Store in November.
You can download the official Google Latitude app for iPhone 3GS or higher, iPod touch 3rd & 4th gen, and iPad. The app required iOS 4.0 or later.
