It’s okay to keep that program running if you normally use it for ssh anyway. Nothing at all has changed on the iPhone side (where the main issues are still just Bluetooth and Skype)

This works with any Mac Leopard version. Not tested on Tiger OSX. Enables full resolution on My HP G60-635DX to 1366x768x32. Use Kext helper to install. *** Make sure to update your system fully, then install this. It worked for me before I updated my Snow Leopard, resolution worked, but the mouse was not functional. So it's very important to update your system either to 10.6.5 or 10.5.8 prior of using.

There was rumors about 10.6.6 ATIRadeonX2000.kext doesn’t require binary patching, but these turned out to be negative.
So here it is, the patch for 10.6.6, support was added for anything in range of 0×9440-0×9462, but I don’t promise every card in that range will work !

ATI Radeon 4670 kexts set for DVI-out

fter trying everything from Netkas to the latest Chameleon I could not get my my ATI Radeon HD4670 working on the DVI-out. These three kexts I have modified should get you working DVI signal. You should have a working system on which the video signal is transmitted through the D-sub/VGA analog system. After installing these 3 kexts, the signal will be redirected to the DVI digital connector and your VGA-connector will be disabled, so be warned.

Only working on desktop ATI Radeon HD 4670 system with both DVI and VGA (and optional HDMI connector).

Remove all the 3 existing kexts from your S/L/E directory and install these 3 modified kexts with kext utility. Shutdown the system and replace your D-Sub/VGA cable with a DVI-cable and turn on your system. The video signal will now be redirected to the digital DVI connector. Enjoy !

The kexts are modified to use the Shrike framebuffer.

Step by step :

1. install osx - restart - boot from CD
2. patch /System/Library/Extensions/IONetworkingFamily.kext to get Marvell Yukon 88E8056 ethernet working, i used this metod from MasterChief :

2. download 10.6.5 combo update, install but don't reboot
2. extract ASUS_p6x58d-e.zip to desktop
3. copy DSDT.aml to desktop
4. run MultiBeast - install UserDSDT, LegacyHDA 889, HDAEnabler 889, AppleHDA 10.6.2Rollback, USB Rollback, USB 3.0 support, and support for your video card.
5. copy folder Extra from desktop to osx root
6. run Kext Utility to rebuild permissions
7. reboot

After reboot you should have all the hardware except Marvell Raid.

These are all the best kexts, dsdt.aml and .plist files for perfectly getting everything working on the Dell Inspiron 1525 once you have already installed your boot loader and Snow Leopard 10.6.5 on your Hard Drive partition. Everything works perfectly with these files except the webcam for some reason?

There are two more kexts to add, VooDooPowerMini & VooDooSdhc that improve stability and performance. I am also including an AppleHDA installer that works with the LegacyHDA for great quality sound and Mic. You may not need HDAEnabler anymore under 10.6.6., but still probably need using 10.6.5 Everything here works and has been tested as working under 10.6.6 Snow Leopard.

In the last couple of days, I was rewriting ATI support in Chameleon, and had a few testers, but I need to make sure it works on most supported cards.

First I would like to outline a few things:

* This isn't a HOW TO get your card working, this is a request for testing.
* Don't ask how to install
the booter, how to use or add a given booter flag or how to run an update, if you don't know how to do that yourself, then this isn't for you, yet, learn that elsewhere, and you're more than welcome here.
* I don't take responsibility for any damage this may cause, so take your precautions before you use this.

Requirements:

* An ATI Radeon HD5xxx or HD4xxx card.
* Latest Snow Leopard with the latest Graphics update.

How and what to report:

* Disable any kind of enabler, injector or device-properties you're currently using.
* Test every port, and any possible combination; test each port alone, then two ports, then three.. etc, to the best you're capable of.
* Post the output from: sudo lspci -nnvd 0x1002: | grep -B2 Subsystem.
* Save an ioreg dump (Save from the File menu of IORegistryExplorer) each time you try a different port and/or combination.
* Report any observations or comments.
* Include a screenshot of the Graphics tab from System Profiler when reporting.
